Book Review:Shelter Me by Juliette Fay

It may have seemed like it took a little longer to get through this book but that's because I had a dud on the middle that I just could not finish. This is very hard for me to do, but I'm trying to get better about torturing myself through something I'm just not feeling just because.

Shelter Me is essentially about the first year of a young widow's life with 2 small children after her husband dies suddenly and how she and those around her rise up and fail, some unexpectedly on both accounts. It sounds sad and is, but it also feels very real and the characters are well rounded and interesting. It's on the longer side and held my interest through the entire read. Definitely recommended.
