Book Review:The Weight of Water by Anita Shreve
SO good. It is about a photographer that has an assignment to revist a crime scene on the Isles of Shoal. She goes with her husband, daughter, and then her BIL who captains the boat, along with his girlfriend. The story switches between 3 narrations (and rather confusingly at times) of the main character Jean, Maren, the sole survivor of the crime, and then transcripts from the courtroom. Three stories unfold together, all holding you in suspense. I really like this author and plan to read more.
