Book Review:The Tattooed Girl by Joyce Carol Oates
This was a very bizzare and at times dark book, but I actually liked it. It was twisted but not enough to turn me off. It's basically about this crazy odd girl that becomes an assistant for an ailing young jewish author. She has a lot of sick feelings towards him because of his heritage and money but also cares for him as well and this internal tug of war is a main focus. She is a character you both hate and pity. I thought it was a unique read and am glad I ran across it.
