Book Review - The Castaways by Elin Hilderbrand

The Castaways is about 8 friends, 4 couples, on Nantucket island. It starts out with the death of 2 of those friends and then the story is told in alternativing voices of the remaining 6. At times you are almost jealous of the 4couples at their friendships and at others they are all so different, it's hard to imagine them all that close "in real life". Their lives have become entwined with each other in ways the others do not know and the story unfolds with the details of that and the story of what happened on the boat when they're friends died. I thought it was an excellent book that I whipped through pretty quick and would highly recommend.

This book also meets number 5 in my Take a Chance reading challenge:

"Blurb Book: Find a book that has a blurb on it from another author. Read a book by the author that wrote the blurb."
The blurb was on the back cover jacket of Winter Gardens that I read this year by Kristin Hannah.
