Book Review - Revolutionary Road

This book is about a married couple in the 1950's. Married, with two children, neither are very content with where they ended up and the book chronicles their actions on how they got to that point and what they are doing about it now. I really did not care for it, it was very mellow and a downer almost. I didn't feel connected to the characters at all. It has the spirirt of a book like Catcher in the Rye to me, and I never loved that one either. I guess it was good enough for me to finish but I don't recommend it for reading at all. I would probably check the movie out, just out of curiosity. Maybe I am missing something.
