A Thousand Cuts is about a school shooting, not by a student but a teacher. As the book unfolds, what it really is about is bullying. I thought it started out a little slow and I found myself being disappointed, but around a quater into it, I was pulled in and anxious to see how everything was going to tie together. The book left me a little sad because I found it to ring of the truth just a bit to much, albeit slightly exaggerated to a certain degree. It's a quick and good read that I recommend and will stay with a little while.
