Booke Review:Before the Storm by Diane Chamberlain
This book was okay. It read fast and had a few turns. I just never got the deepest connection with the characters, where I really cared what happen. It's one I'd recommend you borrow or pick up at a garage sale. It's about a Mom and her 2 kids, 1of which has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). A fire happens and as the story of responsibility unfolds, so does the past of how this family came to where they are now. One thing I did learn that I didn't know was how similar FASD and Austim can be in regards to certain aspects such as seeing things as black and white. That really has nothing to do with anything, but interesting to me nonetheless.
