Book Review - Room by Emma Donoghue

This book was part of my Take a Chance Reading Challenge:

The subject matter couldn't be more horrifying. It's about a girl kidnapped at age 19 and her son who have been held captive in a room for years. It's written from the child's perspective and while for his mother this room is a jail cell or torture chamber, to him it is home. I don't want to say much more, so I don't spoil it for anyone, but it's a really good book and I consider a must for the avid reader.
