Book Review - The Red Rooster by Michael Wallace

This book is available through Amazon's Prime lending program on your Kindle.

It mainly takes place in France during WWII. It's about a young girl who is out for justice for her father, who was arrested several years ago. She also has hope that he is still alive after being arrested and of finding him. She takes the route of seduction to accomplish this and zeroes in on the very man responsible for taking her father away. The book is sad and disturbing, something you'd expect from the topic at hand of course. I've read so many novels from this time era and it is yet again another interesting perspective on it. If you can handle the twistedness and descriptions of some torture scenes, it is a very good read.
